A place to bring what you've been carrying, and to explore what might change.

You may be sensitive, empathic or someone with a rich inner world, who is used to carrying things quietly, so others don't always see what you are holding.

Together, we can make sense of what's happened, attend to what your body and nervous system are carrying, and consider what feels possible now.

Working With Me

What counselling with me is like

Counselling with me is a collaborative and paced process. We go at a speed that feels manageable, with attention to grounding and nervous system safety. There is space for reflection, emotion, and uncertainty — and no expectation that you arrive knowing exactly what you want to work on.

We may explore early family roles, long-standing relational patterns, work or life pressures, and how these show up in your body and inner world now. We’ll also pay attention to the systems and expectations you’re living within, and whether change means coping differently, setting boundaries, or re-imagining what you want from your life.

Ways I work

My work may include:

  • Trauma-informed counselling
  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)
  • Inner child and parts-based exploration
  • Creativity and metaphor
  • Body-based awareness and grounding

Online Counselling and Face-to-Face Counselling in Oxford, OX4

In addition to some face-to-face sessions in OX4, I offer online counselling. Online sessions are available via Zoom, Google Meet, WhatsApp Video and Facetime, allowing for greater flexibility, reaching clients from the surrounding areas of Marston, Cowley, Wood Farm, Sandhills, Risinghurst, Wheatley, Summertown and across the UK.

Online counselling can work very well for many people as it is more convenient than face to face (with no travel time or parking to worry about!) it can be very helpful for you to be in the comfort of your own home, particularly when talking about difficult subjects. This can even mean that the work evolves more quickly than in face to face sessions.

Session and Fees

  • Sessions last 50 minutes and take place once a week at the same time.
  • The fee for a 50 minute session is £60.
  • I can also do longer sessions, which is sometimes helpful for EMDR and other trauma processing.
  • I offer a fifteen minute introductory call (either by phone, Zoom or Google Meet) so that you can ask me any questions and we can see if we are a good fit.
  • I do a full assessment in the first session which will further explore whether the counselling is suitable for you and inform any future work.

Payments to be made at least 24 hours in advance via the booking management system. The full fee needs to be paid for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance.
